Student Development Programs
Experience the Joy of Learning!
Group learning skills are becoming increasingly critical in education, social and career development. Many of these skills can’t be learnt from text or by googling a solution. Our programs engage students with hands on activities that develop problem solving, dealing with and adapting to change, flexibility of mind, improving resilience and a healthy understanding of the growth that can come from failure as well as success. Programs develop the importance of diversity and respect for others and self.
Learning is embedded by utilising all of the students’ senses, to experience both the challenges and opportunities of working with others. Our facilitation model enables safe and effective reflection practices from which to grow.
Programs may be designed to assist a student council or leadership group , to prepare a whole year group in a transition year or to fast track the group learning skills of a new class or overseas students. Underpinning program outcomes is improved student attitudes, trust and support.
Programs can be delivered indoors or outdoors at your location of choice including your school or to compliment a school camp. We can also design and deliver entire school camp programs including accommodation and catering in spectacular learning environments such as Margaret River. Programs can include adventure, recreation and reward activities such as mountain biking, abseiling, canoeing, expeditions and high ropes courses. Depending upon the location the possibilities are endless.
Our programs develop:
- Self acceptance
- Leadership skillsets and mindsets
- Positive attitudes
- Improved resilience and wellbeing
- Improved study and exam performance
- Communication skills
- Skills to work in teams and group projects
- Problem solving skills
